Fabregas wants to play

Chelsea and Spain midfielder Cesc Fabregas has admitted that he is quite disappointed with the lack of playing time at Chelsea.

He said that he would have loved to play more, but unfortunately, the team is performing well without him.

He said that he is happy so far this season with the club challenging for the title and the only thing is that he would have wanted to spend more time on the pitch.

So far this season Cesc Fabregas has only started five games for the London team and made another eight appearances as a substitute.

Antonio Conte at the moment prefers Kante and Matic at the center of the field, and this gives little playing time for Cesc Fabregas. Indeed, the Italian manager prefers a more defensive type of football and believes that the two abovementioned players are stronger defensively than Cesc Fabregas.

Fabregas told the Chelsea website that he is happy to be on the pitch and that it is always a great pleasure for him to score goals or to make an assist. He said that he had enjoyed his season so far, but he would have loved to spend more time on the pitch.

He said that he is working hard in training in order to get back to his best level and ensure that he gets more playing time on the pitch. He said that Conte is a great manager and that he only select the best players to play. He feels that if he improves his performance on the training ground, he will have an excellent opportunity to get a place in the team.

He believes that Chelsea has a great opportunity to win the league and it is up to the players to ensure that they are fighting for it.
