Cesc Fabregas has Played majorly for England Clubs

Cesc Fabregas may be a Spaniard by birth, but he is considered as a home-grown talent in English football after having spent almost a decade with Arsenal and Chelsea.

A major chunk of that time has been with Arsenal, but Fabregas only had the FA Cup trophy as the silverware he lifted with the gunners. This title came early on during his Arsenal career. Since then, he endured several disappointments – especially at the new Wembley – with the gunners. Since making the £ 30 million move from Barcelona to Chelsea in the summer, the 27-year-old has been enjoying his football once again.

It did not take long for him to lift his first title with Chelsea. This came in the form of a League Cup triumph over Tottenham on Sunday. Fabregas contributed to the 2-0 victory with an assist for the second goal. Continue reading “Cesc Fabregas has Played majorly for England Clubs”

Cesc Fabregas Strives Hard To Make The Cut To Chelsea

Jose Mourinho was not impressed with the performance of the team Chelsea as he witnessed the match with Queens Park Rangers with the score reading 2-1.

According to him, they lacked consistency. Being the manager of Chelsea he did have a point to prove. Accordingly the game should have been over much before when Charlie Austen grabbed the equaliser that too in the next half.

His Team did not play according to his standards and that was why he became disappointed. He was satisfied with the points but was expecting more from the team. The combination of Fabregas and Oscar dominated in the midfield of Chelsea. Both have been exceptionally effective in the season. They kept on rotating from the mode of attacking to being in the midfield. The opposition was stuck by mayhem caused in the match. Mourinho should have showed little bit of love for Oscar and Fabregas at least. In the premier League they bought Chelsea back to ways of winning.

Early on the crowds frustrated the team of Chelsea. Oscar arrived in the half hour. He linked up with Fabregas and then he did bent a fantastic attempt around Rob Green and off he scored into the net straightaway. Mourinho acknowledged that Oscar was indeed the best player. For 90 minutes throughout he was the best player according to him. The reasons which led him to say so were not for the goal that he scored rather for his dynamism, transitions and the intensity. He was agile in his technicality.

Oscar really discovered his previous form and that is the reason he intends to give number 10 positions to him. In this season Fabregas has made nine assists. When the time comes to bask in the glory he takes a backseat, where as he is the gun loader.

ALVES BLAMES PRESS

Dani Alves, the Brazilian right back, reckons that the press was responsible for the Selecao not being able to reach the glory in the FIFA World Cup played on their home turf.

According to Alves, the media just did not let the Brazilian players breathe in peace during the showpiece tournament. Brazil was actually going alright before they came across Germany in the Round of 4 and got crushed brutally. The goals were raining from everywhere in that match, from the visitors’ side of course.
