A lot of Chelsea fans took to their various Twitter accounts to show their admiration for Charlie Webster who has drawn comparison with former Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas after his display during the FA Youth Cup comeback victory over Liverpool. The new Cesc Fabregas and the other Chelsea youth team members  trailed 3-0 to the Reds youth team before they produced a stunning fightback in the second half to win the game 4-3. The Chelsea u-18s qualified for the quarterfinals thanks to the impressive comeback win.

The Ed Brand-led Chelsea u-18 team conceded three goals without reply and were on their way out of the FA Youth Cup as they trailed 3-0 to hosts Liverpool within an hour. Chelsea were able to score four goals in the last 20 minutes to turn the game on its head. Charlie Webster is seen as the new Cesc Fabregas and he pulled one back to start the comeback in the last twenty minutes. The deflected shot from Webster  pulled one back for the Blues before Jude Soonsup-Bell took Chelsea to within one goal of Liverpool via a header after beating the goalkeeper to a cross.

Chelsea scored their equaliser three minutes from time when an attempted clearance in the Liverpool rearguard deflected off substitute MallikMothersilleand into the back of the net. It took just 17 minutes for Chelsea to score three goals and tie the game before they scored the winning goal in stoppage time. Tudor Mendel-Idowu scored the winner from close range in added time of second half to take Chelsea into the last eight of the FA Youth Cup this season.

Charlie Webster was the pick of the bunch amongst the Chelsea fans after the game. They were impressed with his outing in the middle of the park as he reminded them of a certain Cesc Fabregas.
