Latest Developments Could See Messi And Fabregas Link Up In The United States

The future of Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi continues to be up in the air and neither the player nor the club has come out to quench the rumors surrounding the Argentina international star’s future at the Camp Nou. Messi will be a free agent at the end of the current season if he does not agree to a new deal at the Catalan giants and if that happens, and he eventually leaves the club, he will definitely be a huge miss for Ronald Koeman’s side.

Odegaard Reveals His Arsenal Idol Who He Watched As A Kid

Latest Arsenal signing Martin Odegaard has revealed that the Arsenal player he idolized while growingup as a kid is former Arsenal midfielder, Cesc Fabregas. The young midfielder recently signed for the Gunners on loan from Spanish La Liga giants Real Madrid last summer and will remain at the North London club till at least the end of the season.

Arsenal and Real Madrid were locked in negotiations for the player for a few weeks as they only arrived at an agreement at the closing stages of the winter transfer window which was shut at the end of January. The Norwegian international player has since revealed that he is very excited to have completed the transfer which he longed for since returning from his previous loan spell at Real Madrid's rivals. Ex Chelsea star Cesc Fabregas was impressed by the performance of Mason Mount in the clash against Watford. The Blues defeated the Hornets 3-0 to kick their Champions League hopes alive.


Manchester United were briefly in third place following their demolition of Bournemouth 5-2.As Chelsea defeated Watford and Leicester City humbled Crystal Palace 3-0 at the King Power Stadium, United returned to fifth place, two points behind fourth-placed Chelsea and three points behind Leicester. This has made the final five games left a race to qualify for Champions League.

ARTETA ADMITS TOP FOUR WILL BE HARD

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has reacted to the Gunners’ stunning Europa League elimination at the hands of Olympiacos at Emirates stadium. The Gunners were left heartbroken after a stoppage time goal sent them out of the Europa League on away goal.


The Arsenal manager admitted it will be very hard for the Gunners to secure Champions League qualification via the Premier League after crashing out of the Europa League. The Gunners currently place 9th on the Epl table – a whole seven points behind Chelsea who sit in fourth place.

CHELSEA TO SIGN MARTENS FOR FREE IN SUMMER

Chelsea are reportedly interested in Napoli forward Dries Mertens. The Blues failed in their bid to sign the Belgium international during the winter transfer window. They are expected to make another move for the player during the summer. Chelsea will face challenges from other parties, who have also registered interest in the Player.

Real Madrid are offering Isco to Chelsea for 44 million pounds and majority of people at Stamford Bridge believes it is a deal worth taking a chance on.
