REPORT: ETHAN NWANERI TIPPED TO SURPASS WORLD CUP WINNER’S ARSENAL CAREER

Arsenal have reportedly tipped Ethan Nwaneri to surpass Cesc Fabregas’ career at the club, with the teenager becoming the Premier League’s youngest-ever player last weekend against Brentford. According to the Daily Mail, insiders at Arsenal are confident that the 15-year-old attacking midfielder has the potential to exceed what Fabregas did with the north London club as well as Jack Wilshere, with some at the club tipping Nwaneri to become the defining talent for the north London side for years to come.


Nwaneri made history on Sunday by coming on as a substitute for the Gunners in their 3-0 win against Brentford, with the England youth international being introduced during stoppage time in what was a historic moment for the wonderkid and for the Premier League, with the teenager by far the youngest player to ever play in the league. FABREGAS WANTS BARCELONA RETURN FOR MESSI

Spanish midfielder Cesc Fabregas is keen for Lionel Messi to return to Barcelona ahead of the 2023/24 season. Messi and Fabregas have a very good relationship as friends. Cesc Fabregas talked about the Paris Saint Germain (PSG) in a recent interview monitored by English publication Daily Mirror.

Fabregas was asked about Messi and a possible return to the Nou Camp. The Spaniard responded by saying his wish is for Messi to return to Barcelona and that his opinion is as a Barcelona fan. Barcelona president Joan Laporta recently hinted about the possibility of signing Messi as he talked about the seven-time Ballond’orreturning to the club.                 CONTE CAN REPEAT FABREGAS TRICK WITH PIERRE-EMILE HOJBJERG

As the summer transfer window is now officially open, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg could find himself in the same position at Tottenham, as Cesc Fabregas was in at Chelsea. Antonio Conte will be hoping for a busy first summer at Tottenham, as the opening of the transfer window is now official. The Italian is thought to want at least six new arrivals over the next few months with two deals done already .


Fraser Forster and Ivan Perisic have already been signed by Conte so far and this will get Tottenham’s transfer window off to a flying start, as the process of trying to strengthen Conte’s squad ahead of next season begins. Manchester United reportedly believe Chelsea will turn their attention to try sign Monaco midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni this summer. Well-respected journalist Miguel Delaney has written in his weekly newsletter in The Independent about potential interest in West Ham’s Declan Rice. Apparently, potential suitors Man United suspect Chelsea are going to look elsewhere to reinforce their midfield rather than chase West Ham’s talisman.

The report suggests 22-year-old Tchouameni could be that individual the Blues set their sights on. Tchouameni, who’s a vital player for French Ligue 1 club Monaco, is a very exciting young talent. CHELSEA FANS PRAISE NEW FABREGAS

A lot of Chelsea fans took to their various Twitter accounts to show their admiration for Charlie Webster who has drawn comparison with former Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas after his display during the FA Youth Cup comeback victory over Liverpool. The new Cesc Fabregas and the other Chelsea youth team members  trailed 3-0 to the Reds youth team before they produced a stunning fightback in the second half to win the game 4-3. The Chelsea u-18s qualified for the quarterfinals thanks to the impressive comeback win.

The Ed Brand-led Chelsea u-18 team conceded three goals without reply and were on their way out of the FA Youth Cup as they trailed 3-0 to hosts Liverpool within an hour. Chelsea were able to score four goals in the last 20 minutes to turn the game on its head. Charlie Webster is seen as the new Cesc Fabregas and he pulled one back to start the comeback in the last twenty minutes. The deflected shot from Webster  pulled one back for the Blues before Jude Soonsup-Bell took Chelsea to within one goal of Liverpool via a header after beating the goalkeeper to a cross.

FABREGAS PRAISES MARTINELLI STRIKE AGAINST NEWCASTLE

Ex-Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas praised the quality shown by Gabriel Martinelli on his volleyed strike against Newcastle United at the weekend. Brazilian attacker Martinelli came off the bench to score one of the best goals in the Premier League this month and he received a seal of approval from Cesc Fabregas.

FABREGAS PAYS TRIBUTE TO NASRI

AS Monaco midfielder Cesc Fabregas has paid tribute to Ex-Arsenal star Samir Nasri after the Frenchman announced his retirement last week. Cesc Fabregas wrote his tribute to Nasri via his official Instagram account as he reminisced on the goals and assists they had together at Arsenal.

Ex-French national team player Nasri and Cesc Fabregas were at Arsenal for three years until 2011 when they both left. Nasriwas a perfect replacement for Belarusian player AleksandrHleb when he left for Spanish La Liga outfit Barcelona in 2008. The Gunners signed Nasri from French Ligue 1 side Marseille and he went on to form a very good relationship with Fabregas on the pitch. The versatility and dribbling ability of Nasri was perfectly in sync with the vision and craft of Fabregas during their time at the Emirates Stadium. MONACO ON BRINK OF UCL ELIMINATION

French Ligue 1 giants AS Monaco are on the verge of being knocked out from this season’s UEFA Champions League (UCL) after they lost to Shakthar Donetsk of Ukraine at home. The two teams met earlier this week for the first leg of their playoff tie and it was the Ukrainians who established a lead ahead of the second leg scheduled to take place later this month.

AS Monaco were beaten 1-0 at home by their Ukrainian opponents thanks to the strike from Pedrinho in the first half. His goal came on 19 minutes and it was enough to win the first leg for Shakthar thereby placing the team in a fantastic position ahead of the second leg on home soil.

FABREGAS REVEALS SPURS MESSAGE FROM TERRY

Cesc Fabregas has revealed the message from Chelsea legend John Terry to the other players just before he played his last game for the Blues. Cesc Fabregas detailed the message from Terry in his column for the Daily Telegraph. According to him,the then Chelsea skipper told the other players not to let Tottenham Hotspur overtake the club while he was about to end his career at Stamford Bridge. Terry spent one more season as a player at Aston Villa before calling it quit with his career.
